Microsoft has issued a secondary warning for CVE-2019-0708 dubbed as the “BlueKeep Vulnerability.” This vulnerablility allows an attacker to take over a system with no user interaction by sending special crafted requests.
Microsoft has stressed the importance of installing patches to address this vulnerability in older versions of Windows. According to recent reports, millions of machines are still vulnerable. This security flaw is potentially “wormable”, meaning it could spread without user interaction throughout the internet.
The following versions of Windows are affected:
Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, & Windows Server 2008 R2
